Portaro Pac General Terms & Conditions (GTC)

1. Introduction

Portaro Pac provides pre-set emergency travel kits for customers affected by delayed or lost luggage. These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase and use of Portaro Pac products and services. By using our service, you agree to these terms.

2. Nature of the Service

Portaro Pac is a trial commercial offering developed as part of the ESSEC & Mannheim EMBA programme. It is operated as a student project in a pilot phase and provided on an “as is” basis without warranties or guarantees beyond those required by law. Nothing in these Terms limits your non-excludable consumer rights under Singapore law.

3. Scope, Ordering & Delivery

Portaro Pac is available for booking worldwide. Delivery is currently limited to Singapore. Your booking address is used as a registration address; upon receiving your activation code by email and activating on our website, you can supply the Singapore delivery address for release. We aim to deliver within six (6) hours of release, subject to operational feasibility and restricted service zones (primarily hotels and central areas stated at checkout). If we cannot provide the service after a valid release, we will reimburse amounts paid.

4. Plans, Validity & Expiry

The Portaro Value plan is valid for one (1) month from activation; the entitlement to release a kit expires automatically if unused within that month. The Portaro Flex plan is valid for one (1) year from activation; priority access expires automatically if unused within that year.

5. Pricing & Payment

Portaro Value: one-time fee of SGD 59 covering the release of one Portaro Pac set (retail value SGD 108).
Portaro Flex: one-time fee of SGD 9.90 securing priority access for one year; if a set is released, a top-up of SGD 98 is required. Payments are processed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) via Wix-approved gateways.​

7. Refunds

If the service cannot be provided after a valid release, any amounts paid will be fully reimbursed.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Portaro Pac and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. We do not warrant that the products or sizing will meet every specific need. This clause does not limit or exclude liability where doing so would contravene applicable law or your non-excludable statutory rights.

9. Data Protection & Privacy (PDPA)

We collect only minimal personal data necessary to fulfil your order and operate the service (typically name, email, booking details, and activation status). We notify you of the purposes, obtain consent where required, allow withdrawal of consent with reasonable notice, and delete personal data once it is no longer needed for business or legal purposes. As this is a student pilot, we plan to delete customer data when the project concludes, except where retention is required by law (e.g., tax/accounting). You may request access or correction, or withdraw consent; doing so may affect our ability to provide the service. Contact: poraropac@gmail.com

Cookies & tracking. We use essential cookies and may use third-party tools that place non-essential cookies. Where consent is required, we will obtain it and provide a way to change or withdraw consent at any time with future effect (e.g., cookie banner/settings).

10. Changes & Termination

We may modify these Terms, pricing, and availability. Changes take effect upon publication on our website and apply to future purchases and releases. If a change materially impacts an already-activated entitlement and we cannot reasonably perform as originally described, you may request a refund.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
